This past week, the Lethbridge Airport transformed into a winter wonderland of joy and warmth as Gilbert Pattison Middle School students and Nicolas Sheran Elementary School spread holiday cheer.

The City of Lethbridge continues to prepare the Lethbridge Airport for potential expansion opportunities. This includes ongoing conversations with Flair Airlines on future routes.

People near Lethbridge may see and hear Royal Canadian Air Force CC-130H Hercules, CH-146 Griffon helicopters, and a CC138 Twin Otter flying overhead, and see Search and Rescue Technicians parachuting between June 5 - 12.

This spring we’ve been fortunate to host several tours at Lethbridge Airport (YQL). From elementary-aged children to young adults exploring a career in the trades. Students have had the chance to look behind the scenes at YQL and learn about what it takes to keep an airport running each day.
